A Release Date Is Official: Lil Wayne Wraps Up "Tha Carter IV"

After a long wait, the YMCMB leader Lil Wayne announced an official release date for "Tha Carter IV" album.

Lil Wayne explained that his highly anticipated album is ready and will drop on May 16th. This is the hip-hop martian’s first album since being released from jail in November. Though a final tracklisting has yet to be revealed, Nicki Minaj and Drake have recorded guest verses for the project.
