Christina Aguilera Flubs the National Anthem at Superbowl XLV...
Last night Christina Aguilera messed up on the fourth line of the National Anthem, creating a buzz all over the internet. She sang: "Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight, what so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming." While the correct lyrics are: "Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming."
She released a statement this morning stating: “I got so lost in the moment of the song that I lost my place...I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of it’s anthem still came through.”
Well... at least she is not the first artist to mess up on the National Anthem at the Superbowl...
